In January of 2003, Ralph was named CEO of Action Sports Media after 3 years as Vice President and General Manager. He led the company through its most significant period of growth and negotiated its sale in 2005, subsequently serving 18 months as an advisor to the new ownership. ASM held contracts with many major collegiate athletic departments, including sponsorship and broadcast rights in many of the country’s largest venues. Ralph led negotiations for naming rights, pouring rights and large-scale branding contracts with a variety of corporations. Additionally, ASM facilitated the installation of large-screen video, advertising and information technology into more than 20 stadiums and arenas. In 1992, Ralph founded ESPN’s University Rights division and served as its Director until 2000. He started his career in sports venue, broadcast and marketing management in 1986 with Host Communications.
In 2003, Michael formed an independent consulting firm to manage a series of large-scale technology and construction projects for the University of Virginia and the San Antonio Spurs, among several other professional sports organizations. Mike founded the sports divisions in North America for two major LED manufacturers: Lighthouse Technologies and Philips Electronics. Over the past eight years, Mike has successfully designed, built and integrated more than $120 million in LED technology contracts for some of the largest sports and entertainment companies in North America. He moved to the United States from Canada in 1996 as part of a senior project-development team for Trizec Hahn, the largest publicly traded real-estate company in North America. Earlier in his career, Michael was in charge of business development for Recreational Services International (RSI), where he negotiated “public/private partnerships” between Canadian municipalities, union organizations and private management firms.
In 1997, Frank co-founded ANC Sports and served as Executive Vice President for seven years, managing both the operations and research/development departments. A leading company in the sports signage and marketing field, ANC Sports specializes in LED Video Screens, LED Fascia advertising displays and rotational signage. The operations department utilized a large staff of employees located in more than 100 sports facilities throughout North America and was responsible for installations, project management, game operations, service and maintenance. Prior to ANC Sports, Frank spent five years with Dorna USA, a sports marketing and rotational signage company. As Vice President of Operations for Dorna USA, Frank was responsible for the initial structuring of the service and operations department and managing a staff of over 40 signage operators located at various sports venues around the country. In 1988, Frank earned a BS in Business from Montclair State College, and in 1991 a MA in Sports Management from St. Thomas University.
