General Services
Representation
AJP provides a very practical function as your owners’ representative, most specifically as it relates to procurement. Typically, large-scale projects require a cooperative effort between ownership, architects, general contractors, engineers, facility operations, primary tenants, and a host of sub-contractors, vendors and suppliers. Unfortunately, the reality is that, while these groups are used to working together, many of these parties have different goals and their individual interests can be in direct conflict with one another. As a result, many large-scale projects can be exposed to unnecessary expenses and inefficiencies that have a direct cost impact to the ownership. As an owners’ representative, our objective is to help bridge the gaps between architectural concept, performance requirements, construction scheduling and budgetary restrictions in order to protect the financial interests of the owner while helping to provide the solutions necessary to overcome the challenges that inevitably play a role
in any major construction process.
